Moves like water. Wears like air.
The Piece
You are on your mat. Then you are in the world. The Flow Pant does not ask you to choose.
Lighter and more open than The Ground Pant, the Flow Pant is the piece you reach for when you want to feel free in your body without sacrificing the elegance of being dressed. It passes the yoga test — not because it stretches, but because it moves with you. Wide through the leg, fluid in its drape, it is the natural upgrade from the sweatpant and the legging. Both, and neither.
The wide-leg silhouette creates a sense of ease that reads as intention. You are not trying. You are simply here — botanical, unhurried, fully present. This is what comfort looks like when it has taste.
The Fabric
The lighter sister to the fabric used in The Root Pant. Where the Root Pant grounds, the Float Pant breathes. It moves like water and wears like air.
Handwoven by Indian artisans in a handloom cluster, this fabric carries the same ancient lineage as all Sovereign pieces. It is light enough to drape beautifully in a wide leg without clinging, without stiffening, without ever working against the body.
Caring for Your Sovereign Pieces
Our garments are made of handwoven Khadi cotton — a living fabric that softens, settles, and grows more beautiful the more you wear it. That's the quiet magic of cotton and the handloom. A few small rituals will help your pieces last for years.
Will the color bleed?
No. Each piece is double-fastened and holds its color in water. One gentle note from nature: if you work up a real sweat — a long dance, a hot afternoon — your body's pH can occasionally interact with the dye. Nothing a proper wash won't settle.
Everyday care
Hand wash in warm water with a mild soap. Air dry. Please, never bleach and never tumble dry. Warm iron or steam before wearing.
On the longer days
Life isn't always hand-wash slow. When you need to, your Sovereign pieces can go through a delicate cycle — or a regular cycle inside a delicates bag. Air dry afterward; skip the tumble dryer.
A note on darker pieces
Wash your darker colors separately, in cold water, to keep them deep and true and free from fading.
Made by hand, by design
Every piece is hand dyed and handwoven, so slight irregularities are not flaws — they're the signature of the artisan and the loom. No two are exactly alike, just as it should be.
