There’s something that happens when someone feels Sovereign for the first time.
I’ve watched it at every community event we’ve hosted. Someone picks up a piece, has their first experience of the handwoven Khadi fabric, tries it on, and suddenly, they understand the brand and they see how the pieces fit into their lives.
Our in-person conversion rate is significantly higher than our online conversion rate. And honestly, I’m not surprised. There are some things an email can’t quite communicate.
You can see the drape, the simplicity, and the details but you can’t feel the weight, softness, texture, and movement of the fabric until it’s in your hands.

“I wasn't expecting the fabric to feel like butter.”
“What really drew me in were the fabrics and the simplicity and elegance of the clothing”

Letting You Feel Something
That’s why the Sovereign Circle events have become some of my favorite things to do. The Sovereign Circle is our community of practitioners, teachers, meditators, seekers: people who have chosen presence over performance, wisdom over noise, and who are building their lives around that choice.
We’ll often gather for a short guided meditation, tea and open conversation, time to browse the collection and try things on, and a final share-out. And I love watching the moment someone discovers the clothes through touch rather than through a photograph. As a culture we are craving tactile experiences more and more, and these pieces do not disappoint.
It’s a different kind of introduction.
So. If you want to come to an event in the future, get in touch! I’m planning a trunk show tour for the rest of the year, and I would love to bring the clothes to you.
Until then, I’ll keep trying to make the internet do something it was never particularly good at: letting you feel something.
With love,
Anushka
